this is a nice series Rian. i would have gone there and seen not much to photograph – maybe a few rivets ; ) – but your images are really interesting and give a good sense of the power in the ship and the guns.

There is something about how the blue if reflecting off the gray that give this a retro look. Loving the sky. Excellent.

I really enjoyed this series. My brother served in the US Navy on a battleship/destroyer. He said it was the best time of his life.

Great shot! The hard metal of the ship and guns such a contrast to the soft clouds. Superb sky – so dramatic.

Impressive gun set up on this ship. I’m so inexperienced with ships I would be gawking around and probably not taking pictures. Nice image.
